Description
Ultrasonic Wasp Repellent – Chemical-Free Protection
Enjoy peace in your home, garden or terrace, without the annoying presence of wasps. This innovative device uses modern ultrasonic technology to create an effective protective zone, repelling wasps in a humane way, without the use of sprays, chemicals or traps.
How does the ultrasound device work?
The principle of operation is based on the emission of sinusoidal ultrasonic waves with a variable frequency between 25 and 40 kHz. These frequencies are completely inaudible and harmless to humans and most pets, but they have a strong impact on the sensory system of wasps. Ultrasound creates an acoustic environment of strong discomfort, which disorients insects and forces them to leave and avoid the area protected by the device.
Main advantages and features:
● Eco-friendly protection: Works without poisons, chemicals, and odors, making it completely safe to use around people, food, and drinks.
● Universal application: With its IP44 protection standard, the device is resistant to water splashes and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
● Easy and quick activation: The device is turned on and controlled with just one turn of the knob, and a light indicator shows when it is active.
● Economical operation: Powered by 3 standard AA batteries, which provide up to 240 hours (about 10 days) of continuous operation.
● Compact and discreet: With its small size and clean design, the device easily fits into any environment without attracting unnecessary attention.
● Concentrated action: Covers an area of up to 15 m², providing the strongest impact within a radius of about 3 meters in front of it.
Instructions for effective use:
1. Preparation: Insert 3 LR6/AA batteries into the compartment, observing the indicated polarity.
2. Activate: Turn the knob to turn on the device. The LED indicator light will light up to confirm that the device is working.
3. Correct positioning:
○ Outdoors (terrace, balcony, garden): Place the device on a table or other high place, facing the area you are sitting in. For best results, turn it on at least 15 minutes before going out.
○ Indoors (in a room): Place it near a window or door where wasps come in. To allow them to leave, leave the window slightly open.
Important recommendations for optimal results:
● Ensure a direct line of sight: Ultrasonic waves do not pass through walls, furniture, and other solid objects. Do not place the device behind curtains, sofas, or cabinets as this will reduce its effectiveness.
● Attention to pets: The device is not suitable for use in rooms where small rodents such as hamsters, guinea pigs or rabbits are kept, as the ultrasound may disturb them.
● Important clarification: The device is designed to repel accidentally flying wasps and significantly reduce their presence in the area of action. It is not a means of destroying nests. If you have a wasp colony or a high concentration of insects, it is advisable to combine the use of the device with appropriate insecticide preparations.
