TWO-COMPONENT WATERPROOFING ZERO

MAPELASTIC is a two-component solution based on cementitious binders, fine-grained selected inert materials, special additives and synthetic polymers dispersed in water and mixed according to a formula developed in MAPEI's own research laboratories. After the two components are mixed, a free-flowing mixture is obtained which can easily be applied evenly to vertical surfaces, at a thickness of up to 2 mm per single layer. Thanks to the high content and quality of the synthetic resins used, the hardened MAPELASTIC layer remains permanently flexible under all environmental conditions and resistant to chemical attack from de-icing salts, sulphates, chlorides and carbon dioxide. MAPELASTIC has excellent bonding properties to all types of substrates - concrete, render, ceramic tiles and marble, provided they are sound and sufficiently well cleaned. This property, together with resistance to the damaging effects of ultraviolet rays, is characteristic of this product and guarantees that structures protected and waterproofed with MAPELASTIC will have a long service life, even if located in areas with particularly harsh climatic conditions, in coastal zones with salt-laden atmosphere or in industrial zones where the air is especially polluted.
