Eleven-year-old Nora Nirling has no idea that while she does her homework in her room, her father is killing young women in the basement of their house. But the police still knock on the door. Someone knows who Nora is. Someone wants to pin the blame for this unthinkable crime on her. She, however, is not a killer like her father. The police cannot charge her with anything. As long as she doesn't go into her basement.
