Save on expensive repairs at the workshop. Replacing a faulty cylinder head gasket at a workshop is labour-intensive and costly. Depending on the vehicle, it can cost anywhere from several hundred to several thousand leva, which you can save with Steel Seal®. A proven alternative to replacing a damaged cylinder head gasket. It can be used universally for all vehicles with water-cooled engines and is effective against leaks from the head gasket on the coolant side, as well as cracks in the cylinder head or engine block. Thanks to its unique thermal mode of action, Steel Seal® seals precisely and permanently. The formula contains no fillers and thus protects other areas of the cooling system from deposits. In recent years Steel Seal® has become synonymous with a fast, cost-effective and long-lasting solution for faulty cylinder head gaskets, delighting thousands of customers… Instructions for use: Make sure the engine is cold and the coolant in the cooling system is clean. Remove the radiator cap and pour the recommended amount of Steel Seal® directly into the radiator. Refit the cap. Tip: For vehicles without a radiator cap, Steel Seal® can be filled through the expansion tank*. Switch on the vehicle's heating and fan to the highest setting. Start the engine and bring it to full operating temperature. Let the engine idle for a further 30 minutes once operating temperature is reached. Switch off the engine and let it cool down completely (min. 6 hours). ! Warning: Monitor the engine temperature on the instrument panel throughout the entire application. If there is a risk of overheating, switch off the engine immediately and let it cool down! If necessary, top up coolant to the mark indicated on the expansion tank. Leave Steel Seal® in the cooling system and use your vehicle as normal.
