Description

Wireless subwoofer for soundbar

Wireless subwoofer SONY SA-SW9 BRAVIA Theatre Sub 9, 600 W

600 W deep bass for BRAVIA Theatre soundbar systems — no cables to the TV at all.

The wireless subwoofer Sony SA-SW9 (BRAVIA Theatre Sub 9) adds 600 W of bass power to a compatible soundbar system Sony and turns movie scenes into something you feel physically. It connects wirelessly, so it can be placed anywhere in the room, while two opposing 200 mm aluminium speakers take over the low frequencies from the soundbar.

600 W bass from two opposing 200 mm speakers

Sony SA-SW9 works with two aluminium speakers of 200 mm, facing each other — a design in which they mutually cancel vibrations and keep the bass clean at high volume. The S-Master digital amplifier delivers up to 600 W, which keeps explosions and film music full without the cabinet "booming".

Compatible with BRAVIA Theatre and HT-A series

SA-SW9 connects wirelessly to the soundbar systems BRAVIA Theatre Bar 9, Bar 8, Bar 7, the Quad set, as well as HT-A7000, HT-A5000 and HT-A3000. It also supports a two-subwoofer mode — the second one evens out the bass in larger or irregularly shaped rooms.

Setup from the phone with BRAVIA Connect

The BRAVIA Connect app guides you through the initial pairing of SA-SW9 and then adjusts the bass level and sound field from your phone. With a compatible BRAVIA TV, the subwoofer connects directly to it, saving extra cabling.
