Six Scorched Roses

Six roses. Six vials of blood. Six visits to a vampire who could be her salvation... or her curse.

Lilith has been dying since the day she was born. She has long since made peace with her inevitable death, but she cannot accept the demise of those she loves. And as the cursed city slowly withers from a mysterious disease, she decides to take matters into her own hands. Driven by desperation, Lilith makes a deal with the one being the gods despise even more than the townspeople: a vampire named Vale. She offers him six roses in exchange for six vials of vampire blood, from which she hopes to brew a cure.

Their deal, however, gradually grows into something more, and Lilith is faced with a terrifying realisation: it is dangerous to fall into the hands of a vampire... but in a place that has already incurred the wrath of the gods, it is even more dangerous to fall in love with him.
