The biological threat is not over. Just when the threat seems destroyed, the emergence of a new horror will send chills down players' spines. Chris Redfield returns after literally tracing the path of evil across the whole globe. After joining a new organisation, Chris heads to Africa, where the latest bioterrorist threat has literally transformed the people and animals of an entire town into mindless, frenzied creatures. Chris must confront this challenge and uncover the truth behind the evil plan. In Resident Evil 5, Capcom makes players fear daylight just as much as they feared the shadows in previous titles.
Co-producer and series veteran Yoshiaki Takeuchi (Lost Planet) and Masachika Kawata (Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition, Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles) deliver an unprecedented level of fear in the next generation of Resident Evil - the sequel to one of the most highly rated games in gaming history according to etacritic.com and Gamerankings.com. Promising to revolutionise the series through incredible levels of detail, realism and control, Resident Evil 5 is certainly the game that will attract even more fans. New technologies developed specifically for the game, as well as the incredible changes to gameplay and the world of Resident Evil, will make Resident Evil 5 an essential part of gamers' collections around the world.
