  • A pulse oximeter is used to monitor pulse rate and blood oxygen levels.
  • This pulse oximeter is lightweight and easy to use, running on just two AAA batteries.
  • This device functions by transmitting wavelengths of light through the body and then recording these readings with a photodetector, which can then calculate heart rate as well as blood oxygen saturation, known as SpO2.
