Description

Potassium metabisulfite is used for sulfitizing wine, prevents cross-linking and oxidation of rotten grapes, increases overall acidity and improves taste, protects against bacterial spoilage. For healthy grapes, the dosage is 7.5 g/100 l of must, for rotten grapes: 15-30 g/100 l of must. For clarification, racking, bottling: 10 g/100 l. Method of application: the previously calculated amount is dissolved in a little warm water, the mixture is stirred and added to the vessel for fermentation or storage of the wine.
