Features
Ceresit CS 26 is a low-modulus, one-component, ready-to-use, pure neutral silicone sealant (alkoxy type) containing fungicides for sealing and filling joints in sanitary premises, as well as for joints on facades at risk of mold formation.

Ceresit CS 26 combines the advantages of excellent adhesion without priming (including on synthetic surfaces), neutrality and good mold resistance.

Preparing the foundations
All surfaces must be clean and dry, free of dust, grease and anything that could prevent good adhesion of the sealant (including icing). Residues of old sealant or other materials on the substrate must be removed.
removed completely (if necessary with a suitable silicone cleaner). Degreasing is done with a swab soaked in solvent (spirit or alcohol), followed by wiping with a clean cloth. Dust should be removed with degreased compressed air. For best sealing results, it is recommended to protect the edges of the joints with tape before applying the sealant.
No priming is required on most surfaces.

Application
Smoothing the sealant ensures good contact between it and the surface.
Immediately after application, spray the joint with soapy water and smooth using a suitable tool.
Remove any tape before a surface crust forms.

Storage
Ceresit CS 26 should be stored dry at temperatures between +5 °C and +25 °C.
The shelf life is 12 months in the original packaging after the date of manufacture (the expiration date is printed on the packaging).
