Provides protection and durability for engines equipped with exhaust gas recirculation EGR system. Dispersant and antioxidant properties protect against soot build-up and oil filter clogging. Excellent anti-wear properties are aimed at protecting the cylinder-piston group. Excellent detergent properties protect against deposits on pistons and piston rings. Low-temperature viscosity minimises wear and ensures easy starting at low temperatures, compared with oil of SAE 15W-40 viscosity. The new ACEA E9 classification is intended for lubricants used in truck engines equipped with a diesel particulate filter (DPF). Reduced sulphated ash, as well as sulphur and phosphorus content, prevent clogging of the soot filter and extend its service life. Developed for engines meeting Euro IV, Euro V and Euro VI standards, equipped with a sensitive exhaust aftertreatment system. Sulphur and phosphorus hinder the operation of the catalytic converter, which can lead to inefficient exhaust gas cleaning. Sulphated ash can clog the particulate filter, which reduces engine power and the filter fails.
