Description:
Levenhuk Skyline PLUS 80S Telescope is a telescope for experienced and demanding customers. This Newtonian reflector telescope is ideal for observing objects in the distant Universe: you can observe all objects from the Messier catalog and the brightest objects from the NGC catalog. Dozens of star clusters, planetary and diffuse nebulae can be observed. You can also explore the near Universe, including lunar craters, Saturn's rings, Jupiter's atmospheric vortices, Mars' weather features, Mercury's phases, and more. Even Uranus and Neptune are observed as small disks.
The optics in the telescope are made of fully coated glass.
The included accessories have been selected in such a way as to make the most of the optics. By using two eyepieces and a Barlow lens, the highest practical magnification can be achieved, allowing for observation of astronomical objects with the greatest possible detail and clarity, or on the other hand, a wide field of view can be used for observation of large objects in the distant cosmos. The balanced set of the telescope helps to avoid having to purchase additional accessories.
The telescope is mounted on an equatorial mount. It allows you to observe astronomical objects in the sky; however, it takes some time to get used to using the telescope. The mount is attached to an aluminum tripod. You can place it almost anywhere, as the height of the legs is adjustable over a wide range.
