iFixit iOpener Toolkit

The iOpener is a tablet opener designed to apply heat directly and evenly to adhesively bonded case components. Once the glue has softened with the heat applied by the iOpener, the glue can be cut using the many tools included in the iOpener kit. This toolkit was developed specifically for the iPad, but works with any tablet, smartphone, or other electronics requiring the application of heat in the disassembly process. The iOpener is heated in your microwave. It is reusable, non-toxic and food safe.
