PHANTEKS Enthoo Pro
Thanks to Enthoo Pro, PHANTEKS has managed so well to hide cost-effective cuts that it is hard to believe that you have something less noble than Primo. An example of this is the selection of materials forward and top panel. From a purely visual point of view, it's hard to guess that it's just seemingly brushed aluminum, but it's actually made plastic. In this way a strong family resemblance between midi enclosures and big tower is preserved.
This also applies to shapes that in Enthoo Pro are now somewhat more conservative. However, this does not diminish the wonderful aesthetic experience: PHANTEKS Enthoo Pro seems wonderfully simple and one hundred percent symmetrical. In the lower part of the front, a rectangular perforated grid creates an intake area for fans that can be set behind it.
Additional information
At the top of the front, behind the panels are three ODD sockets (toolless), the top panel is a flap for I/O ports, two for USB 3.0, USB-C and audio. Top seamlessly continues to look. On the front there is only a power button behind which also hidden behind the grid slots for optional fans 200, 140 or 120 mm. Unlike many other cases, PHANTEKS not only gave Enthoo Pro a front and bottom dust filter, but also here.
Alternatively, water coolers can also be placed in the PHANTEKS Enthoo Pro in the lid, in the front, on the floor, and in the rear position of the fan, which is pre-equipped with a 140 mm fan. There are even triple heat exchangers up to 360 or 420 mm in the cover, which, however, may not be higher than 65 mm to interfere with the built-in main plate. The tray houses plates from Mini-ITX to E-ATX, and the water tank can be screwed in the back next to the PCI sockets.
The Black Enthoo Pro version offered here has a completely closed left side panel. If you remove it quickly and easily with radeled screws, you will see a closed recess on the drive with a stylish PHANTEKS label on the front. The look inside also reveals the ATX power supply, which sucks fresh air from the bottom and does not release its heat to other parts of the housing.
The open right side of the housing reveals other great features, as you already know with Enthoo Primo: at the front there are two individually removable frames for hard drives, which can also be loaded from here with 3.5 or 2.5 inches disks. On the other hand, an additional 2.5-inch mount with the "Drop-n-Lock" mechanism was placed on the back. Thanks many [...]
