Goki Wooden Counting Game - Close the Box

Help children learn counting and arithmetic through play. The Goki "Close the Box" set gives children the opportunity to practise addition and subtraction in a different, engaging way.

How to play:

The game is designed for two players. If there are more than two of you, you can split into teams.

The aim of the game is to close as many or all of the numbers on your game board as possible. Each player rolls both dice, adds the numbers together and turns over one or two numbers on the board with the same sum.

Each player may turn over a maximum of two numbers in one turn, deciding for themselves whether to turn over just one number or the sum of two. The player keeps rolling the dice until they close all their numbers or until they cannot close any more numbers.

The winner is the player who manages to close all the numbers. If any numbers remain open, they are added up. The player with the lower score wins.

This educational game is especially suitable for children who are just learning to solve addition problems. Besides helping them practise counting and calculating, it also encourages the development of strategic planning, organisation and social skills.

The game is made of wood, which makes it durable, pleasant to handle and completely safe for children.

Suitable for children over 6 years old.
