Spirit Manhattan Creative effect

Spirit Manhattan is a high-quality water-based decorative coating for interior applications. The product is ready to use and contains fine pearl pigments and special fibers, making it suitable for obtaining various iridescent effects.

Coating with a pleasant texture and velvety-pearl shimmer

It creates a unique look for the rooms in which it is applied, without a pungent odor. Suitable substrates are lime-sand screeds, cement putties, concrete (at least 30 days old and with a base humidity of no more than 4%), gypsum cardboard and strong coatings of water-dispersion paints with good adhesion to the base.

How to use and apply

Surfaces must be completely smooth, dry, dust-free and free of grease and moisture stains.
• Friable substrates or those covered with varnishes and waxes, or compromised old coatings, must be sanded and cleaned.
• After this pre-treatment, the base is primed. New surfaces are primed with one layer of Leko Nano primer. In case the treated surfaces already have a dark color or several different colors of paint applied, prime with Spirit Primer to even out the color of the base.

• After the primer has dried, it is necessary to apply Spirit Tint Base Matte in 1 or 2 layers to create a colored background. We recommend:
• Spirit Tint Base Matte in color 167A02, before applying Spirit Manhattan Light (ML)
• Spirit Tint Base Matte in color 167B06, before applying Spirit Manhattan Dark (MD)
• Stir Spirit Manhattan well before use. Work at a temperature of 5°C to 30°C.

Spirit Manhattan is stirred BY HAND before application.

Mixing with an electric mixer at low or high speeds would disrupt the consistency/structure of the paint!
• After the paint (the colored background) has completely dried, Spirit Manhattan is applied with a brush (with cross movements) in one layer. It is worked on areas with an area of about 2 - 3 m². After applying the effective coating, it is carefully smoothed with the specialized spatula for the product. It is worked continuously until the entire desired surface is covered.
