The doors are made of laminated MDF – Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF) covered with laminate on one side (single-sided laminated MDF). The laminate is glued onto the MDF surface at a temperature of about 180-200°C and a pressure of about 2.5 N/mm2. The laminate is paper that is impregnated (soaked) with melamine resin. The quality of the laminate is determined by two factors:

1) paper - the laminates of the boards we offer are made of paper with a grammage of 120-140 g/m2. The grammage of the paper is important, because with papers with a lower grammage (thinner papers) there is a high probability of it showing through. Another important factor is the printing of the paper (what we see as UNI, wood decor or other imitation). This is a purely printing process and the quality of the print depends on the number of colors applied to the paper.

2) melamine resin Melamine - a complex cyclic chemical compound with a crystal lattice containing three carbon molecules. Melamine is used in the production of synthetic resins. Melamine resin - a synthetic resin formed after condensation (thickening) of formaldehyde and melamine. It has the property of permanently hardening after heating. It is used as a coating (laminate), as a mixture for making household items, as an adhesive, etc. The resin is characterized by high wear resistance, is difficult to scratch and is a relatively inexpensive material. The thickness of the melamine resin layer determines the wear resistance of the final product and is 0.1 mm.

General technical data:

1. Wings – both faces are made of 6 mm. laminated MDF, which are glued onto a wooden frame, with reinforcement in the area of the hinges and the lock, in the cavity – cellular filling. Thickness – 40 mm. Lock – brass or chrome for a regular key, secret or WC.

2. Frames – made of 6 mm. laminated MDF and solid wood, compensating skirting boards on both sides.

3. Seals – made of high-quality rubber in different colors, they are a kind of addition to comfort, for good insulation between rooms. Attached to the frame, they serve as both sound and heat insulation.

The compensating sills of the frames allow the installation of the frame to be possible even on uneven walls. In addition, the adjustable sills are suitable for walls that are not made to a certain standard (wall thickness and plaster), which provides more flexible solutions and is convenient for the customer.
