MXS 3.8 is a modern charger with microprocessor control and a patented pulse-maintenance function, designed for use with batteries from 1.2Ah to 85Ah. MXS 3.8 addresses a wide range of battery problems and is ideal for everyday use. The features of MXS 3.8 include battery condition diagnostics to determine whether it accepts and holds a charge, a patented automatic desulphation program, and a special "Snowflake" mode for optimal charging on cold winter days. The patented pulse maintenance of the charge means that MXS 3.8 is ideal for long-term maintenance. The entire process of testing, charging and maintaining the battery is easily followed via a clear LED screen. MXS 3.8 is a fully automated "connect and forget" 12V charger with 7 stages and offers a choice between programs with 0.8A and 3.8A. "Snowflake" mode works with the 3.8A program. The device has a wide charging range for all types of lead-acid batteries from 1.2Ah to 80Ah, with an additional capability for maintaining batteries up to 130Ah.
