CERESIT CM 17 TILE ADHESIVE GRAY

DESCRIPTION

CERESIT® CM 17 is designed for laying ceramic, cement and stone tiles (excluding marble) on deformable substrates.
Its characteristics guarantee a flexible connection with the base and compensation of stresses during deformations between the tiles and the base.
Therefore, CM 17 Stop Dust is recommended for tiling thin partition walls, underfloor heating, raised areas, terraces, bathtubs, swimming pools and industrial water tanks.

PREPARATION OF THE BASE FOR LAYING CERESIT CM 17

Clean the surface from dust, dirt and other substances that reduce adhesion.
Remove loose mechanical particles. Cement and concrete screeds must be completely hardened before applying CERESIT CM 17.
Absorbent substrates are primed and allowed to dry.
Surface irregularities up to 5 mm can be filled the day before with CERESIT CM 17

MIXING CERESIT CM 17

Pour the contents of the CERESIT CM 17 package into an accurately measured amount of clean water (5.75 to 6.25 l of water per 25 kg).
Mix with a drill until a homogeneous mass without lumps is obtained.
Leave for 2 minutes and then stir again.

APPLICATION OF CERESIT CM 17

Apply CERESIT CM 17 tile adhesive with a suitable notched trowel onto the substrate.
For interior use, the tile adhesive must cover at least 65% of the back of the tiles.
When used outdoors, the back-smearing method should be followed to cover at least 90% of the back of the tiles.
Lay the tiles only during the open time of the CM 17 adhesive.
