Coaxial speakers with Plus One cone for tight bass without an additional amplifier

JBL STAGE 3 8627 are 2-way coaxial car speakers with an oval size of 15 x 20 cm for standard slots in many car models. The frequency range is 65 Hz to 20 kHz at an impedance of 3 Ohms, and the nominal power is 50 W. The set is designed for direct replacement of factory speakers in the front or rear doors.

Plus One cone with up to 35% more radiating area

The patented design of JBL moves the suspension mounting outward along the frame. Efficiency is increased by up to 2 dB, which is heard as tighter and deeper bass at the same power from the head unit.

Edge-driven dome tweeter

High frequencies are distributed more widely in the cabin and sound more uniform from the driver's seat. The upper reproduction limit reaches 20 kHz.

Vented basket for cooler voice coils

The rigid frame dissipates heat from the motor structure during cone movement. Distortions at high levels remain low, and the speaker handles prolonged operation at peaks up to 250 W.

Installation in standard 15 x 20 cm oval slots

The mounting depth is about 58 mm, and the cutout is approximately 183 x 142 mm. The 3 Ohms impedance extracts more power from the factory radio without overloading its output.
