Beginner Villain

If you inherit a huge fortune, fate is smiling on you. If you inherit someone's business, fate gives you a second chance. And if you inherit a supervillain's empire, fate is simply mocking you.

"Starter Villain" meets Charlie Fitzer, who has no luck. He is a divorced former journalist who works as a substitute teacher, lives only with his cat, and is about to give up on his last dream. But everything in his life turns upside down when his wealthy uncle dies and Charlie turns out to be the sole heir to a secret supervillain empire.

Thrown into a completely new world of villainous lairs, criminal technologies, sharp-tongued talking dolphins, and sensible cats that have risen through the corporate hierarchy, the new boss will have to face unexpectedly powerful enemies. After all, in the supervillain business financial resources are unlimited, the power of weapons is unimagined, and world domination is the main goal. In this sea of merciless sharks, sometimes you have to be… a cat with common sense.
