Schneider - B+W 010 UV-Filter MRC Basic is a filter that reduces the transmission of ultraviolet light, which reduces the bluish atmospheric haze effect when shooting outdoors. In addition, it adds a protective layer with a durable coating that repels dirt and water and protects against scratches and abrasions.

The filter is precision German craftsmanship - each side includes 7 layers of Broadband coating for high-contrast images with minimal residual reflection and uniform light transmission of 65.5%.

The brass filter ring features an improved knurling pattern for more comfortable gripping and a special functional coating for smooth mounting and removal.

The ring has front threading, and its low-profile design makes it suitable for use with wide-angle lenses.
