Developed by Ubisoft Quebec with the collaboration of eight other Ubisoft studios, Assassin's Creed Syndicate is an epic standalone adventure set in London during the Industrial Revolution, an incredible era of inventions that changed the lives of millions. During this period, the gap between the poor and the rich grows progressively wider, making the life of the poor little more than legalised slavery. The lower classes fight for survival by forming a new type of family – the gangs – and adapting to life in the criminal world. Players will step into the roles of Jacob Frye and Evie Frye, twin Assassins raised with a single goal – to follow the Order of Assassins. Jacob, determined, headstrong and leader of a gang from the underworld, is very different from his sister Evie, who is a specialist in stealth and precise control of every situation. Together, Jacob and Evie will combine their skills and face their enemies and Templars to save the people from poverty and corruption, regaining control of London.
In Assassin's Creed Syndicate, you will have the opportunity to explore the most modern open world created in the series so far. Battles and the combat system are more brutal than ever, and players will be able to confront their rival gangs and increase their influence in London using new weapons, including revolvers, kukri knives, brass knuckles and others. Assassin's Creed Syndicate will also offer you an innovative new system of transport and navigation through the open world, including a special grappling hook device that allows you to easily roam the rooftops of the tall Victorian buildings in London. Get ready to use, for the first time in Assassin's Creed history, high-speed trains and carriages to track your opponents or escape from them.
The ability to lead your gang, drive any vehicle at your disposal, and use all kinds of modern devices to take over the streets of Victorian London are precisely the elements that make the game different from its predecessors in the Assassin's Creed series. Assassin's Creed Syndicate has gone through more than two years of development, and this modern approach to the open world of the game is able to satisfy both Assassin's Creed veterans and brand-new players.
