Armadillo Figure Wild Life

Schleich figurines are crafted with attention to detail and hand-painted, which makes each figurine unique. These educational toys provide an opportunity for learning through play and stimulate children's creativity and initiative.

Armadillos are found in South and North America, preferring dry habitats such as steppes, savannas and semi-deserts. These unique animals are known for their thick scaly shell, which resembles armour and gives them their name. Armadillos have an exceptionally keen sense of smell, which helps them sniff out insects even when they are buried deep in the ground. When digging insects out of their underground hiding places, they can hold their breath for up to six minutes!
