LUJA UNIVERSAL PRIMER WHITE

Acrylic primer. The product contains an anti-mould agent that protects the painted surface.

• High-quality white primer containing anti-mould and anti-mildew ingredients. Applied under Luja paint, it provides additional durability to the coating and ensures resistance of painted surfaces. Particularly suitable for walls and ceilings in damp and humid rooms.

• The primer adheres firmly to the surface and reduces absorption of porous surfaces, which makes it easier to apply Luja interior paints.

• Suitable for priming before hanging wallpaper. It levels and strengthens the surface without softening during pasting. Priming walls before hanging wallpaper makes it easier to hang and remove.

• Made in Finland!

Recommended use: 
Walls and ceilings in interior spaces. Used for priming concrete, plaster, cladding, brick, cardboard, chipboard, plasterboard and wood fibre surfaces. Suitable for both new and previously painted surfaces. It also adheres well to surfaces previously painted with transparent dispersion, alkyd, epoxy and acid-containing paints.
Tinted in light shades according to the Tikkurila colors catalogue.

Application method:
Brush, roller or airless spraying – nozzle 0.015"–0.021" – thinning 0–10% by volume.

Drying time at 23^°C, 50% relative air humidity: Touch dry – after 30 minutes. Recoat after 2 hours.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Application conditions: The surface to be treated must be dry, the ambient temperature at least +5°C and the relative air humidity below 80%.

Surface preparation:

Unpainted surfaces: Clean unpainted surfaces of any contamination and dust. If necessary, level the surfaces with suitable Presto filler and sand the dry surface. Remove the dust from sanding. Painted surfaces: Wash previously painted surfaces with Maalipesu cleaning agent and rinse
carefully with water. Fill holes and cracks with suitable Presto filler and sand the dry surface. Remove the dust from sanding.

Painting: Stir LUJA Universal Primer well before use and dilute with water if necessary. Apply with roller, brush or spray gun. The topcoat can be, for example, LUJA, Joker, Siro.

Finish: Finish the surface with LUJA, Joker, Siro.
