The Weldstar Compact Arc 160 electric arc welding machine is suitable for both service and construction work, as well as for welding production. Thanks to the Arc Force function, the arc burns evenly and without cracking. In this type of welding machine, the current and voltage after arc ignition change very little and, unlike ordinary welding transformers, remain practically constant.

Weldstar Compact Arc 160 limits and prevents the electrode from sticking to the workpiece due to insufficient current. Another function of the electronic control Anti-Stick “takes care” of this. In the event of a short circuit, the protection instantly switches off the electrical circuit for about a second, so that the tip of the electrode does not have time to melt and stick. After separating the electrode from the workpiece, the welding process automatically resumes.
