Optimal support for the cutting chain

STIHL Circular Saw Chainsaws get your chainsaw chain back in shape. In our tips section you will learn how to optimally sharpen your chainsaw. The files are made of hardened steel and are therefore very strong and durable. They are supplied without a handle and thus perfectly complement the already available STIHL sharpening sets and file holders.

Circular files for cutting chains are available in different diameters from 3.2 mm to 5.5 mm. This way you achieve the optimal sharpness for each step of the chain. A small number on the outside of the feed stop indicates the chain pitch. The larger the chain pitch, the larger the diameter of the chainsaw file is chosen.
